When using a CNC machining center, some process parameters need to be set, such as feed rate, spindle speed, spindle forward and reverse rotation, tool change, and coolant switch, etc. So, how should the rotational speed and feed rate of the CNC machining center in Shenzhen be set?
The rotational speed, feed rate and cutting parameters of the spindle of a machining center are mainly determined by the cutting tool. When processing the same material, the set parameters of different cutting tools are also different. However, when purchasing knives, the parameters to be set will all be provided. For instance, the imported cutting tools of Santwike all provide parameters for processing different materials, such as maximum feed rate, cutting volume and cutting speed.
The cutting speed can be calculated according to the formula: Cutting speed = (processing diameter /3.14/ rotational speed) *1000. For instance, if you want to process a hole with a diameter of 50mm, the maximum cutting speed of the tool is 150m per minute.
The spindle speed = (150/3.14/50) *1000=955 revolutions
Settings are made based on the size of the cutting tool, the hardness of the processed material, the performance of the machine tool, and the processing accuracy of the mold, etc. When the cutting tool is large, the material is hard, and the precision requirement is low, the rotational speed will be slow; conversely, it will be fast. It still needs to be explored based on one's own work experience.
