What are the techniques for CNC machining programming?

CNC numerical control machining refers to the processing carried out using numerical control machining tools. CNC numerical control machine tools are programmed and controlled by numerical control processing languages, usually G-codes. The G-code language for CNC machining informs the CNC machine tool of the Cartesian position coordinates to be used for the machining tools, and controls the feed rate and spindle speed of the tools, as well as functions such as the tool converter and coolant. To achieve good control, CNC programming is indispensable. So, what are the techniques for CNC machining programming?

The rotational speed of the white steel knife should not be too fast.

When the workpiece is too tall, it should be thickened layer by layer with knives of different lengths.

3. Flat surfaces should be processed with flat-bottomed knives, and ball knives should be used sparingly to reduce processing time.

4. When the copperworker is cleaning the corners, first check the size of the R on the corner, and then determine the size of the ball knife to be used.

5. Before carrying out each process, think clearly about the remaining allowance after the previous process to avoid empty cutting or overprocessing and cutting.

6. Try to take simple cutting paths, such as shaping, grooving, single-sided, and avoid circular and equal-height cuts.

7. When performing surface finishing, start with rough finishing and then fine finishing. If the workpiece is too high, start with the edges and then the bottom.

8. Set the tolerance reasonably to balance the processing accuracy and the computer calculation time. When roughening, the tolerance is set at 1/5 of the allowance; when finishing, the tolerance is set at 0.01.

9. Do a few more processes to reduce idle tool time. Think a little more to reduce the chance of making mistakes. Add more auxiliary lines and surfaces to improve the processing conditions.

10. Don't be afraid of surface finishing. Appropriate surface finishing can increase the processing speed and enhance the processing effect.

11. The machine tool has good precision, rigidity and fine processing: it is more suitable for climb milling, and vice versa, it is more suitable for reverse milling.

12. It is strongly recommended to use climb milling for the finishing of the inner corners of parts.

13. The tool material has good toughness and low hardness: it is more suitable for rough machining (large cutting volume machining).

14. Poor toughness and high hardness of the tool material: It is more suitable for finish machining (small cutting volume machining).
